Based in Kelowna, British Columbia, The Bridge Youth & Family Services Society is a nonprofit, charitable organization that since 1969 has been actively supporting families and individuals who experience poverty, substance misuse, family conflict, homelessness, mental illness, sexual exploitation, abuse and trauma.

In 2012, after meeting each other in a new ventures class offered at UBC’s Business School, HeadCheck Health co-founders Harrison Brown and Kerry Costello began to work towards a future for an objective balance test to be used at the sideline of sports games to test for Concussion injuries.
